Micro Dash Logger System

Micro Dash Logger System

The updated V2 Micro-Dash data logging system offers a host of standard features normally associated with high-end systems. In addition to all the Micro-Dash System 2 features the new system introduces the following full data logging capability to its impressive specification.

As with other Micro-Dash systems the logger comes complete with all sensors, lap timer hardware, loom and comprehensive instruction manual.

Micro-Dash Logger System Part Number - MD 2000-L-1

12 Channel Logging (USB download option)

  • 4 dedicated digital inputs: Speed, Rpm, Lateral G force, Longitudinal G force
  • System is supplied with 1 pressure and 1 temperature channel as standard
  • 6 further general purpose analogue inputs available: EG oil pressure, throttle position, steering position, suspension travel, engine temperature, etc
  • 4MB logging memory E.G. 43 minutes logging for 8 channels at 100Hz per channel

High-Speed Logging

  • 2 channels can be logged at 3000 Hz - simultaneously
  • All 12 channels can be logged at 500 Hz - simultaneously
  • Dual speed logging allows channels to be logged at low or high speeds
  • Low speed logging down to seconds or minutes

Micro-Dash Logger SystemAuto Download

  • Just plug the PC into the dash display socket and press two keys to download and save to a file with date and time stamp, and auto-open graph.

Windows 98 Logger set-up Wizard

  • Easy step by step set-up of the logger for your needs. Logger set-up template wizard makes easy template creation.

Easy Track Mapping

  • Standard kit includes a dual axis digital G force sensor. Making track maps is a simple click and make with no need for any manual adjustments.

Improved Start/Stop Conditions

  • Separate start and stop conditions for the logging start and stop. The four conditions (2 start and 2 stop) can be mixed and matched to suit.

Improved Alarms

  • The Micro-Dash display will 'snap' to the alarm channel on any 'new' alarms. Also the shift lights will flash while an alarm is active and the engine is on (inhibited below 500 rpm).

Micro-Dash Logger SystemWindows 98/ME/XP Analysis

  • Track mapping, Lateral G force data can used to create a track map and allow the user to name the various sections and then store the track. These maps are a simple click and make operation with no adjusting needed.
  • Track map position is linked to all graph and data views for easy co-ordination.
  • Math channel: Add a math channel and type in a formula (expression).
  • Can also run math expression scripts from a file
  • Datum line: A horizontal datum line can be added to graphs along with text and measured value for printing purposes.
  • Defaults: New defaults for scales, smoothing and auto-download, that can be applied to channel types (by name) E.G. Lateral G always has a smoothing factor to reduce noise. Old files can have the defaults applied to them at the press of a button.
  • Step by step graph set-up wizards give you the graph you want from the data easily.
  • Graph Views for X/Y data, lap overlay, split lap overlay, and bar graphs. These can be combined on a single x-axis or stacked separately.
  • Tabular data view of all data logged.
  • User programmable reports for Sessions and laps.
  • Reference lap allows comparison on graphs and reports.
  • Improved import and compare functions allow any lap from any document to be displayed and compared against any lap.
  • Graph, windows, tabs and local mouse menus allow quick and easy selection and set-up of the graphs.
  • Lap beacons edited or added in software.
  • Measure tools for on graph analysis of values.
  • Save files, windows and positions: All open files, windows (including their position and size) E.G. measure box, track map etc, can be saved and restored with the files(s), including any compare associations. IE It comes back up as you left it!

LOGGER ONLY SETUP

Part Number - MD 2000-LO-1

For systems requiring a logger only and not a dash, all the logger parameters can be setup and tested from the PC software E.G. speed, rpm, lap beacon etc. All these parameters can be tested, measured, and setup on the PC with no MicroDash display needed.
